The Celebrate Recovery study “Life’s Healing Choices” is on Wednesdays at 6:00 in the parlor. The 8-week study started July 23. The Gospels

This Bible study will meet for the first time at 6:00pm on Wednesday, September 10. But reading the Gospels starts on Monday, September 1! Each day participants will read one chapter of the Gospels starting with chapter 1 of the Gospel of Matthew on September 1. This study will take the group until Advent.

Wickline is celebrating Midwest City High School football this fall with dinner and fellowship on Thursday evenings starting August 28th. Learn how YOU could help a child from Midwest City Elementary learn to read, improve in reading, love reading.

This study, “The Will of God”, was a series of sermons given by the Reverend Leslie Weatherhead during the London Blitz in World War II. This series of sermons was Weatherhead’s attempt to explain to his congregation how bad things happen in a world created by a good and omnipotent God. He encouraged people to think about what they were actually saying when they said, “It is God’s will.” He attempted to do this by naming and explaining the will of God at various times and in various circumstances.

This study started Wednesday, July 16. It is led by Pastor Mark Watson and is in room 213, which is upstairs.
