DAY SCHOOL

April’s curriculum is about earth and water. This week we are focusing on dirt, rocks, and mud. We are also studying shapes and the number “7”. Our Bible verse this month is from Genesis 3:19: “The Lord created the earth.”

• Snacks this week are. yogurt, peaches, and graham crackers. We will be making a dirt cup recipe too. Kids always like that!

• April tuition is due no later than Thursday, April 16.

• Wickline will be hosting Muffins with Moms Tuesday, May 12, at 10am, in Fellowship Hall. (Come in the big doors on the south side and FH is at the end of the hall by the elevator.) We will be serving pastries and fruit for the mothers, grandmothers, and important women in your child’s life.

• Just a friendly reminder that ALL classes go outside for recess as long as it’s not raining or snowing and the temperature is 40 degrees or above. Make sure your child is dressed appropriately.

• Please make sure your child comes to school every day with diapers, extra clothes, lunch, and water. You are welcome to include a blanket and/or a stuffed animal for rest time.

• Please make sure to bring a complete change of clothes to school with your child each day. The children play hard and sometimes get messy! Label all items with your child’s first and last names. The school is not responsible for lost items. Labeling items ensures they will be returned to you at the end of the day.

• Please be prompt in picking up your child by 2:30pm. The door opens at 2:00pm to begin pick-up. A $1.00 per minute late fee will be added to your account after 2:30pm.
