The Gospels
The “first thing” is that we shall know our Lord in a growing way. Preparations for the study will begin September 1 as those wishing to enjoy the fullest experience will begin reading one chapter per day in the Gospel of Matthew. The group meetings on Wednesdays will cover the previous week’s reading. We will deal with questions rising from the text, aha moments, issues, etc. The purpose of this method is hopefully to see our lives through the lens of the Christ of the Gospels and to enjoy his walking with us day by day.
Resources may be found at Seedbed.com. You may subscribe to a daily devotional, Wake-Up Call, by signing in with your email. If you desire, you may purchase a journal, but any notebook will do. The journal will have prayers, creeds, and questions that will help you with the Five Rs: Read, Ruminate, Rememberize, Research, Rehearse. Click on the image to purchase the journal. Also, you can search “Seedbed Daily Wake-Up Call” on Facebook and receive the daily devotional there. If you wish to just listen to the text of the chapter for the day any Bible app will do.

The book of Acts will take us from Pentecost to Paul’s call to the spread of the Gospel across the known world. Join this group as we study what it means to be a Christian, learn to become a follower of Jesus, take joy in talking about and living God’s Word.
