The Church, the universal church, really began after Easter! Jesus sent his disciples out into the world to make more disciples, to start the church.

Studying the Acts of the Apostles leads believers not only into the story of Christ's first followers but into their own story. Just as Jesus through the Holy Spirit empowered his disciples to spread the good news, he now empowers us to do the same. Tell the story of what he has done in this world, the story of what he has done in our lives.
